Scheduled Workout: 2mi warm-up; 8mi tempo at 105% MRP (6:01-04); 1 mi cooldown

Well the workout didn't work as planned. didn't get home till about 11:15 pm tonight. i talked to Joel so he had me just do some easy mileage and save it for tomorrow.

i was in the hot sun a bunch today. it was supposed to be over 100 degrees today but it might have been slightly cooler being on the mt. the night before i slept on an air matress in a tent but couldn't fall asleep for like 3hours. i didn't feel tired all day til night time. i had a long, draining day so this workout just didn't workout today, being up on the mt.

i ran 2mi like my planned warm-up, then talked to Joel and he said to save it for tomorrow, so i just ran another easy 4mi or so about 30min later:

11:35 PM: 2mi - 17:22. couldn't believe my warm-up was that slow. Felt kinda heavy fr a long hard day.

12:40 AM: 4.3mi - 34:08 my legs were feeling heavy and feet felt like they hit the ground hard. my right knee was hurting some.
