Chill Hour
The pickleballerz are out in full force. I wonder if there is a rivalry between the Bear Creek squad and the Monument Valley gang. In my imagination there is a deep seated beef between them and every year they settle it at a 55+ y.o. mixed doubles city-wide tournament. With the winning team taking home the golden paddle trophy to hang up at their court and free Sunday brunch vouchers to Urban Egg.
Thanks be to God for the good day. Started out a bit tired but kept it easy and felt better as I went. Pretty happy with where my body's at. I'll keep staying patient and only ramp things up when I'm jumping out of my shoes with energy. Felt the achilles a bit at the start and then it went away. Will roll them out.
