The classic week-out Calvin track workout. 2:58s on all of them. Went really well.

(6 strides, and an 800 at T before starting)

Thanks be to God for the great day. DUDE today was the day where I turned the corner (not that I wasn't confident before this) and am 100% certain that I'm going to fuck shit up at WASHU. I went from "I'm fit and confident WASHU will go well" confidence, to "fuck you I'm better than you" confidence. Like I'm going to win the second heat at WASHU. Fuck what everyone else might think, I am the fittest I've ever been ever and I'm going to make people look silly next Friday. Like I knew going into this workout that I could do 5-6 at 3flat and that it would be tough but doable, but actually doing it and feeling the way I did after the first rep, I am so for sure, so certain that I'm going to throw down. You don't just run 2:58s at 6kft on a random day mid-week with out being crazy fit. I can't wait.

The reps themselves, the first one was a bit of a shock to the system and my breathing wasn't great. It felt in the jog between reps 1 and 2 that my airways were freaking out after breathing that hard and like they might get more mad/inflammed but after that cooldown my breathing felt amazing. Reps 2-3 felt the best. I was started to work pretty hard in the 4th and the last 400 of the 5th was tough, but it wasn't like my form was breaking down or anything. A 6th would've put me in the well so I stopped at the perfect time.
