Around the Park

Another flat day to give my foot stabilizers a break. It was so insanely windy as the snowstorm was getting ready to drop.

The medial stabilizers didn't hurt hardly at all. The only said hello when the surface I was walking on was uneven. Moreso it seemed like they loosened up on the walk as opposed to when I was just walking around the house throughout the day. Thanks be to God for that.

Sidenote; reading Rebound is really helpful in affirming that the ups and downs in emotions about the injury lately with pain spots changing while I'm rehabbing and me worrying about me overdoing it or re-injuring something is super normal. Talking to the fam and eventually the PT has really helped me calm down and keep things in perspective. I think moving here (and the general stresses of that looming in the background) and having the day that I'm cleared to run approaching makes me a little more anxious about the pains that I feel at times and that's ok. I'm still taking everything in stride and approaching everything as well as I can. Thanks be to God for that and His guidance in all of this.
