Second run of the year, second...event of the year. Not feeling the running this year, but still keen for a 10K.
Have done the HM here twice and now the 10K here twice. The HM is only 2500 yen, but the 10K is 1500 yen. How can I not enter?
A 5K out and back in one direction, then another 5K out and back in the other direction. Drink station at 5K.
Raining first thing in the morning, but warm and sunny for the race. Just cruised it. Started to get worked at the second turnaround at 7.5K. Got slower after that. Particularly as I was hoping for a second drink station. Didn't happen. Feet etc pretty sore at the end.
Water, all you can eat mini tomatoes at the finish and I won a prize in the draw.
Should have brought the grill though...
