Chatting with Tommy and Kelly at the start. At the gun, a whole bunch of kids went flying out plus Devin and the rest of the leaders. Alison Holland passed me early and I settled in on her tail. I followed her through the first mile then I pulled along side and we said hello. I saw Sig pushing his baby up ahead so I yelled at him a few times. heading into the trail Alison and I were neck and neck and we passed each other at least 6 times between 1.5 and 2.5. I thought I had sub 20:00 in the bag, but at the final turn at 3 the clock said 19:32 and I had little left. A little disappointed with this effort... but Devin won, so that was good.
