Was a successful distance runner in high school, and ran well in college too. After college tho, I got married, had kids, got a real job, and didn't have time for running. I averaged about 10 lbs of weight gain a year. I'd battle back at some milestones (175, 200, 230) but never really stuck it out.

I keep running because I am a runner. I just don't feel right if I don't get my run in. I might be slightly obsessed...
|Why I started running:
Which time. I started in 2009, ran into ankle surgery. Started in 2011, ran into heart problems. Started in 2013. I think I'm either a glutton for punishment, or underneath it all, I am just a runner.
