TRAIL - I Heart Momma 5k Trail Run - Hickory Creek Forest Preserve - Mokena
no idea what my time was. thinking back, maaaaybe (?) there were only a couple women ahead of me. not sure. in any case i redlined it the whole way. out and back. for a while there i think i was annoying this dude in front of me with my heavy breathing. fuck that. it was single track and i wasn't there to be polite. he fell behind and i passed him. sucker. short steep climb for a section and one huge downed tree. really a beautiful day. warm, woodsy, muddy
Ended up 16 out of 110 ladies and 45 out of 186 overall. No age groups. There was an option of trail vs asphalt which may have given some faster times. I went with trail.
