16 Miles @ 8:15ish overall average. 8:35 Pace out (Roughly MP+10%) / Back half at 7:55 pace which would be a PR-MP.
Did this with no breakfast (other than 1 cup of coffee) and no Gatorade/Sports drinks/Gu's, Just water to try and better simulate how I might feel late in the race at this pace. The last mile was meant to be a bit of a cool down and was meant to be run slower. Went better than I expected since the legs are tired. Goal was to try and do at least 5 at MP on the way back and if I felt a bonk coming, slow and use the last 2 as a cool down.
