16 Miles @ 8:15ish overall average. 8:35 Pace out (Roughly MP+10%) / Back half at 7:55 pace which would be a PR-MP.

Did this with no breakfast (other than 1 cup of coffee) and no Gatorade/Sports drinks/Gu's, Just water to try and better simulate how I might feel late in the race at this pace. The last mile was meant to be a bit of a cool down and was meant to be run slower. Went better than I expected since the legs are tired. Goal was to try and do at least 5 at MP on the way back and if I felt a bonk coming, slow and use the last 2 as a cool down.

Your legs should def be tired the way you were lighting it up on the way back last night in dreadful conditions. Very nice work here. Has the humidity finally broken?
