At 5.5m mark two dogs ran out of their yard at me and into the path of a truck, one was struck the other dog managed to stop just in time. The owner was in the yard with a new born baby in his arms... I actually stopped before the dog was struck and attempted to get the truck to stop before it was too late. I think the dog may be alright even though truck went directly over the dog. The dog got to its feet after being rolled under the truck and after a few seconds was able to get up and run back to its owner. Such a surreal moment.
