Running in Hurricane Sandy initial outer bands was fun. I got soaked, but it wasn't really cold or anything. The wind was the bigger issue knocking me off stride at several points. One guy in a pick up truck slowed down and rolled the windows down to give me a thumbs up and to shout a sincere sounding good job or something. Between the wind and my headphones I really have no flipping idea what he said, but it looked friendly and encouraging and put a little spring in my step. Saw Egad with about .5 to go, he was just starting out but was likely headed back to the Y as the conditions were getting worse.
