Really wanted to break 25:30 for this, but just wasn't in me today, still 1:30 better than last year at this time. I think the workout on Sunday and Tuesday took a little more out of me than I thought. Then again, I am older and need to work on my core strength as well.
Felt pretty good at the start, went out hard and tried to keep it close to 6:20s on the way out and see what I had coming back. The third mile was my worst split again on this course. I made up some of it in the last mile but not enough to break 25:30. Overall, satisfied with the effort and the time.
