After taking a few weeks off, the PF issue seems to have stopped improving, so figured I just try to ease back into running and work on stretching it out more. Running fast (or maybe I should say faster as I feel like I suck at the moment) seems to aggravate it more than the slow and steady. Trying to remember I am doing this for my health and not dumbassery.
A night brace is on the way, most of my issues with the PF are first thing in the morning anyway and dont impact my run much at all once I warm up.
The first run after a few days off always feels like crap, so well reserve further comment until I get a few more runs in. Roughly planning to run 2 Days on / 1 Off for a week or so and see how it reacts. Mileage will be based on how I feel conditioning wise.
