I'm a divorced mom with two fabulous boys and have a significant other named Jack. I'm a personal trainer and running coach and enjoy running ultra distance races. I also like to alpine and tele ski and teach at Stowe.
|Why do I run:
I run now to help maintain my sanity. I've lost 15-20 lbs since I started running. It helped me get through my divorce and now it's about seeing how far I can go and making sure I schedule some 'me' time everyday.
|Why I started running:
In 1999, I belonged to a gym and one of the trainers there was a XC coach and thought everyone should run as I would spend my allotted 30 min walking on the treadmill. So I turned up the speed a little bit and got hooked. I graduated to the indoor track since there was no time limit there and made friends with other stay-at-home moms who ran. One friend asked if I wanted to train with her for a half marathon and thus began my race career.
