Notes
Today we rode 102 miles to Indiana, so naturally I had to run another 3 miles despite my legs being literal tubes of lead. My run was slow and painful but it happened. Oh and today Barbara (who has been surprisingly staying strong) passed put due to dehydration so that happened. She is fine now so all is well.
So Stacy turns to me. She said a lot really quickly so I'll just hella paraphrase- "Turo [my dood], you messed up [big time]. You clearly think Tyler is a threat but I never liked him or you. You should have just told me your feelings and Idk what would have happened. We are all teammates and I want us to be on good terms" At this point I'm just nodding vigorously tryna get out of there. In hindsight, yeah, she was probably right about all this. By now my feelings for her have settled to just platonic and we are still closeish. Tyler and I are still tight too.
All in all, this was really fun to vent, but I have resolved to stay out of the drama sphere this ride, I'm here to raise money and awareness for cancer research and support services not get in dumb stuff. That said, if any juicy bits come up, involving me or not, I'll throw them in here.
