windy race. Didn't expect much, no speed or threshold work for weeks. 5k and 10k starting at same time. Too many people up front who shouldn't have been. Slow start. Caught up to Patrick C and Mike Fraysse before mile 2 and stuck to Mike until I was able to pull ahead about mile 5.
Splits between 5:50 and 6:01. Race was north/south, Partial headwind while running north, partial tailwind headed south.
