Bobcat Bolt in Durham
rained before race, making ground wet and puddles. Stopped raining at start of race but downpours during race. Not happy.
Ran with (behind mostly) Jimmie entire length of race. Surged in last 20 feet of race to just neck him out. We both had same finishing time. I felt it was a very good effort and the results reflect what I am capable of right now.
Course measured and felt long. Jimmie and I are both certain we were putting in sub 6:00 mpm pace. Garmins showed 6.46 and 6.49 miles, 5:53 pace. Cash awards for first 3. FInished 4th, Jimmie 5th.
