Newburyport 10m. Great summer night for a race.Overcast, slight breeze, not too hot or humid. WRT Senior team winning effort. Third place in age-group behind Goose and Juice. $75 prize I think.
This was a much better run than Saturday's 5m. Foot is still hurting badly but got through it with Aleve and Tylenol. Started out running the first 3 miles with a Mike Paulin at a relaxed but hard effort. We actually chatted for awhile but I dropped off pace. Was able to keep fairly even mile splits except for the inclines. Went through halfway at 29:55. Overall, a good race for myself and I was pleased with the way I ran.
