took 3rd place...was sick in bed 5 days before the race. Since I already paid for the race I told my wife, Kathy, I just wanted to go down and pick-up my packet and bib number. Once down there I told Kathy, "I think I will try to warm up and see how I feel." Kathy said, "You are NOT running." I said, "I feel pretty good, I think I will give it a go." I ran a pretty slow time but still came up with a nice 3rd place medal!
