COMMENTS: MAF run #4. Longest LHR run yet. It was hard to keep my HR down, and going up some hills, it got up over 150 a few times. Tried to slow down, and even walk, but it was a struggle to control my HR. But the run itself was great! Felt pretty solid throughout; no IT band tightness; muscles were a bit fatigued last couple miles. But after the race finished, still felt quite good -- not wiped out like usual. Cheated and drank gatorade and miles 4 and 8, but it was precautionary for sodium and electrolytes, not because of a craving. Ate nothing since the night before.
