Diane and I found Shone Farms and Ya-Ka-Ama all to ourselves on this busy Labor Day. The highlight was stumbling upon some untouched ripening blackberry bushes; stopped awhile and feasted like hungry birds.
Our time was slow, but including some power walking going up the Thumb and Val's Trail.
