The temperature was soaring so Diane and I chose a course with plenty of woodsy shelter. Legs held up, though I was tiring plenty in the last few miles.
Diane took a soft fall in the Gallo woods, a foot catching some vines that protruded over the trail. She bounced back up, more embarrassed than anything.
