Notes
Ran the most scenic section of the West County Trail from the Pajaro Lane trailhead in Forestville; turned around just before the trail crosses Green Valley Road on the course to Sebastopol. It's one of only two authorized trails open to the public in all of Sonoma County during the Coronavirus panic.
The trail provides a current view of rural life, surrounded on both sides by farms, orchards, vineyards, old packing plants, and the Graton Water Treatment Facility. Unfortunately the trail is paved which precludes me putting it in the regular rotation.
Shared the path with many walkers of all ages, the majority accompanied by well mannered leashed dogs. Almost everyone was observing the prescribed social distancing protocol. But one surgically masked coupled deserved a medal, marching along with balloon like sticks in both hands to insure their spacing!
