The punters had abandoned Riverfront Park in mass because of flooding and threatening rain. It was glove weather at the start, a peak of sunshine midway, and a steady rain from Lake Benoist back to the trailhead.
Toweled off and changed clothes in the car before heading for a satisfying brunch at Omelet Express in Windsor.
