took a stopwatch along to time the run, averaged 7:10 pace, probably a little faster since I wasn't stopping and starting it when I stopped at most lights. It was good to see that my pace for recovery runs is at right around 90% of marathon race pace - keeping more runs in that 85-95% range seems like a good idea at this stage of the game. Also makes me more confident that I am ready for some specific period longer tempos. thinking about doing an 8 mile tempo (6:45-50 pace for first 6 miles, 6:10 pace for last 2 miles) on the river path in the middle of next week or the week after.
