LOCO 5000 race on the Dover HS track. Warm and a bit windy but overall the weather wasn't too bad. Hoped to run mid to low 17's. First mile felt pretty good. Tucked in behind the Tuttles. The early laps were a bit quicker than I wanted but it was nice to run with a small group of 3. Shortly after 4 laps I got a pretty serious stomach cramp and then the wheels just came off. The last 2 miles were AWFUL. To run this slow on a track is very disappointing. Not a good race at all. I hate 5k's....still.
