Same thing as last year. Started out fast! Very fast! It's easy to do when you are in the lead pack and want to run with them so bad.The problem is you pay for it in that second mile. I had to recover, even though I was pushing through it I was finally able to turn it up for the 3rd, but it hurt. I would have gotten 3rd overall but was beat out at the end by a 59 year old tall skinny dude. Took first my age group 26-40. It's a tough way to race, but I'll take the new PR.
