8 hours sleep, V8 and banana breakfast. Felt pretty good starting out. Another runner actually congratulated me when she saw my shirt from this year's marathon - runners can be the nicest people! Last mile wasn't good, though - left knee started to be bothersome, and presented some real pain after 3.5. Couldn't do lunges - they caused serious pain when bending down on that knee. Gonna try the elliptical and weights for the next two weeks - no need to push it at this point.
