8 hours sleep, V8 banana breakfast. Tomasso's dinner the night before, including a bit of wine and grappa, but felt fine in the morning. Probably one of my best long runs ever. Felt very comfortable going out - heart rate never went over 160, averaged about 10:40, slightly faster than goal pace. Decided to try a reverse split, pushed on the way back, but still felt pretty comfortable - HR never broke 170 until the sprint at the very end. Averaged about 9:40 on the way back. No ached, no pains. A perfect long run.
