First 20-mile race, so a PR! Also, along the way I hit the 10-mile mark under 60 (PR!) and the half marathon mark right around 1:19 or so, so that would be yet another PR. Today was apparently the day of PRs, so nothing to complain about as far as that goes. But the course support was horrible and definitely something worth complaining about. Unmanned water stops along the way and the last roughly 6 miles was completely unsupported. That would explain the splits dropping off as hard as they did. It was a tough run, no doubt but I'm pleased with the result even if it was a WAY positive split. I'll blame it on the lack of water. :)
Other things, Hafiz ran solid and Grace paced Glenda...pushing her through to the end. Karsten had an off day and although we were hanging together for a while, he dropped off around mile 5.
