Notes

Ran with Yarrow and Anna Murray this morning. Left my house and ran down 5th ave to meet them. We ran dug road to the bike trail, and then the bike trail out to lower pali. Yarrow's plan called for a workout this morning, her last one before the TC 10 next weekend, and I agreed some tempo would be a good way to split up the miles.

3x5min tempo.

I wish I could say my legs continued the trend they were on by the time yesterday's run ended, which was feeling better as the miles went on, but sadly that was not the case. Felt pretty tight today. The tempo pieces actually felt pretty decent, but the warm up and cool down were not quite as enjoyable. I guess I did run 17 on Monday and 10 yesterday, and I shouldn't be surprised. I think I was also experiencing a lot of hamstring tightness from the lifting I've done this week. Note to self, stretching once in a while would probably be a good idea, must work on that. hah.

Glad I got up and got in 8 this morning, it feels great to be done for the day. There would I'm sure be an option to run again at practice this afternoon, but I think I'm going to call it good at 8 today and give the muscles an afternoon off.

Bummer. Hang in there, you have been rocking the miles and work lately, plus all the lifting. Enjoy the well-deserved afternoon off! :) Cheers to the freaking weekend!

Cheers to the freaking weekend is right!!!! Man oh man, does that phrase bring back memories of Fridays in the locker room, hah.

And cheers to your freaking weekend! Have so much fun at the wedding, say hi to everyone for me!
