Notes

A slightly later start to the day because of parent-teacher conferences meant I had time to sneak this workout in before the day got started. And I also got to do it in the daylight! Woohoo! Makes all the difference in the world.

A great workout to just get the legs moving a bit, in anticipation of a big race and effort on Sunday.

3, 3, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, min @ threshold into 10k, and then 6x45/90's at relaxed and fast, working towards mile ish effort.

I think it was just the stimulus I needed today, and my legs felt good.

Right now I have a hard time finding a definitive difference between threshold and 10k, and I think that's because marathon, half marathon, 10k, threshold, etc, are becoming closer together. At least that's what my perception is right now.

paces for the threshold pieces: 6:15, 6:23

paces for 10k pieces: 5:59, 6:05, 6:09, 6:00, 6:03

paces for 45/90's: 5:11, 5:15, 5:02, 5:15, 5:08 apparently I lost track of what rep I was on? I thought I did 6 but my gps laps only show 5. or maybe I just forgot to hit lap when I ended my last one? who knows.

Overall happy with it. Seems like my threshold should be faster, but my 10k pieces were probably faster than my actual 10k pace, but that means those actual paces are almost the same thing, also not that much slower than what I want to run for a marathon..... food for thought.
