Are pull up bar abs just where you hang by your triceps and do hip flexion stuff?

Essentially yes, but hip flexing while holding a 30 second chin up.

First set legs straight and together, bring up to parallel with the ground. Second set together but bent, bring up to 90 degrees like you're sitting in a chair. Third set alternating high knees in the air.
