Wanted to go for 4, and felt completely fine. However, if I'm looking at total mileage for the week, and I don't want to have too drastic a jump from last week, probably just 3.5 was a good option. That way I still have a little bit of mileage to play with over Thursday, Friday, Satrday, and Sunday.

It feels so good to be thinking about how to play with mileage as opposed to hoping I can get to 10 minutes without things hurting.

At one point yesterday I had this thought: I'm almost 3.5 in, and that means that 5 miles would be only 12 minutes (ish) away. For the first time in a LONG time 5 miles seemed like it would have been totally in the realm of possibility. That small, seemingly insignificant moment made me smile.

And just in time for it to start to warm-up and for the snow to melt. Excellent :)
