Notes
If this morning's run was bad, this afternoon's was absolutely great. (apart from butt pain)
The first mile and a half came easily and my legs felt phenomenal. When I looked down and realized I was quite a bit under 8 minute pace anyway, I decided just to let it happen, and it became a bit of a fartlek.
1.5 miles distance
1 mile @ 7 min pace
1 mile @ 6 min pace
Half mile (ish) jog/cool down to end
It was fun to have a little spontaneous work just because I was feeling it.
Tonight my butt was REALLY sore and painful, probably the worst it has been. But I did a good amount of stretching out and rolling out and now it feels much better. Still trying to figure out what it is, definitely feels muscular. But I think I found a stretch that sorta gets at it, and that seems to improve things as well. We'll see what happens tomorrow.
