ASICS GT-2000 (Blue and Neon)
4 mile warm up: 2 miles from downtown to school, and 2 miles with a small crew at morning practice.
4 mile tempo.
1 mile cool down.
First 3 miles felt good, and the last one was quite hard. Good workout.
Were runners doing a tempo with you? Or did you warm up, do two morning miles with folks and then head out? Do they do more drill stuff in the morning?

Runners were not doing tempo. All they have in the mornings is 15-20+ min run or x-train. I ran 2 miles to school, ran 2 miles with some ladies, and then did the tempo myself.
Some of the long tempo efforts have just been around town. I don't really have the capability or desire to drive out to gravel somewhere. Not as convenient. Did a couple on trout run trail a few weeks back when it was nice.
Sometimes I've done them on the treadmill as well, where I can have exact control over distance

and pace. The treadmill is fun because I can track progress really easily too. That's been refereshing to see.
