Legs felt great on this run. Last few days have been the best I've felt in a long time.
A guy out walking his dog looked at me when I ran by and said "Good job" and gave me a thumbs up. For all he knows, I could have only been running for a few minutes, and I didn't have any idea who he was. But even with that, it was nice to be out and about on a run and have someone tell me I was doing a good job. Thanks, man.
Seems like right now 70miles/week is a number that I can sustain pretty comfortably and without feeling like I'm having to really push for miles. And right now 80 seems like that number where I really have to push. I'm happy that this spring has brought me to this point regarding mileage, when I was running about 30miles/week in late march. And I'm excited to push those boundaries even further this summer. In college I consistently hit 60/week, ish. I think this training block is probably the longest I've sustained mileage above 60? And I'm happy that right now 70 is well within my wheelhouse.
