2 mile warm-up

10x 400 @ mile pace w/ 200+ jog recovery

1.5 ish mile cool down

Great workout! Similar to the 400 workout I did 2 weeks ago, but the splits were faster and the recovery was shorter. Two weeks ago I started at 5k- or 3k+ for my pace for the first 5, and then worked down into something almost like mile pace towards the end. This week it was mile pace from the gun, and the recovery was a 200 jog instead of a 400 jog. Pretty consistent 40's and 41's for my 200 splits, so that was good consistency. I definitely felt the higher intensity this time around, and was more wiped by the end, but I also handled the work better than 2 weeks ago and I'm feeling more fit, so that's great. Did a few strides afterwards in the opposite direction just to loosen things up again and also try to balance out some of the left hand turns.
