Wanted a workout that was longer in duration and would help me assess where my fitness is right now. I'm about 4.5 weeks out from my race and my goal is to bump my quality up to 2 days a week as opposed to the one day I am doing right now. The workout went really well and I felt really fit, which was quite fun. By the end I was definitely having to work hard and put out a lot of effort, as should be the case with any well designed workout. Probably what was the most fun was that the earlier pieces and entire first half felt so easy, that was quite fun.

I intended to start at what felt like tempo pace, whatever pace that is right now on July 12th, and then cut it down from there.
