Absolutely awesome workout today. I was intimidated going into it, but ended up feeling great.

10x400 (began at 3k pace and worked down into mile pace over the course of the 10)

10x200 Fast and Relaxed

I've been attempting quite a bit of quality lately. I think part of my success with that attempt thus far is due to my two easy days on the weekends. Easy run and a lift on Saturday, and easy run on Sunday. I haven't regularly done back to back easy days in training before, but I think after filled weeks it has become a great and necessary part of recovery. Felt great today on a day when I needed to feel great. It gave me quite the high this afternoon and I am still riding that this evening.

12 minutes of core post workout. Would have liked more of a full pilates session of about a half hour, but I was feeling the overall fatigue. 12 minutes will be just fine.
