Warm-up for 2 miles ish. Hip flexors still feeling a little tight, but much better than yesterday. Latent soreness from a lot of classic skiing on Sunday.
Felt pretty smooth, things were moving easily so I decided to go forth with the workout I had planned for the day.
3 mile tempo @ about 6:40s. Felt unbelievably easy, as it should have, and that was affirming.
After the tempo I did 5x800 @ about 5k ish, and the last two were definitely faster than even 3k pace, about 5:30mile ish. Felt fast and fresh, and that was a very elating feeling today.
Enjoyed an easy 2 mile cool down post-workout, and the fabulous and familiar runner's high :)
