Ran easy this morning and felt alright. I think I had a false sense of how recovered my legs felt after a very tough effort on Wednesday. On Thursday morning I ran early, ~6am, which was only about 12 hours after my workout, and I don't think the soreness had really manifested yet. And then Friday (yesterday) I didn't run. My quads were quite sore on today's run, and at first that really surprised me, but then I realized its probably still some latent fatigue from Wednesday, and I just haven't been quite as aware of it as I usually would be because of the short turnaround to Thursday's run and then the day off on Friday. Look forward to hopefully feeling a little more recovered tomorrow.

Last long effort was this past Wednesday, and just a track tune-up slotted for Tuesday that I'm really excited about:

4x800 on the track

First one hard

2nd and 3rd ones at 10 mile race pace

4th one hard
