14x 3min on, 1 min off
Felt okay, not great. It took me a long time to warm-up today, so I'm glad I didn't look at my watch at all because my early paces probably would have depressed me a bit. However, the wind was brutal, and I'm guessing that a lot to do with it. Pieces 2-5, which were straight into a 15mph headwind, are laughable as far as pace goes. And maybe that influenced my perception of how I felt early on. But I began to get into it as I went and it ended up being a pretty solid workout. I don't think I've ever done 14 of these before, so I'm proud of that. And I suppose a 6:18 average is something that I should be really pleased with over 14 reps. I also think the paces mirrored how I felt- sort of meh. Looking forward to hopefully having a workout for which I feel really good sometime soon. It's been a few weeks I think. And I'm trying to figure out why.
paces for 3 min pieces: 6:14, 6:29, 6:37, 6:36 (those last three straight into the wind, and tough) 6:21, 6:20, 6:22, 6:19, 6:17, 6:11, 6:13, 6:12, 6:12, 6:06.
