Notes

After 7 hours of skiing, Anders and I officially dubbed and labeled ourselves the crazy ones, and we headed out for a run in the moonlight. The snow was beautiful, the mountains looked majestic, and as we climbed and climbed we simply laughed along at how slow we were running and how terrible we felt. But it wasn't about the time or the distance, we were simply out to enjoy the company and so we can say we ran or XC skiied everyday out here.

The run consisted of a ridiculous amount of laughing, some shuffling and waddling up difficult and snowy mountain roads, a 5 minute break to play king of the hill on a particularly large and inviting snowbank, and per Anders' suggestion a 250m uphill sprint to the condo to finish. I'm not sure if ever experienced so much lactic acid in my entire life.

For the record, I'm the one who got us out the door, but the suicidal and histerical finish was not my idea.
