About me: Reformed couch potato, music lover, dog lover, computer geek, deep thinker, stock picker, and one hell of a model American. |
Why do I run: I love the challenge and the pain. I love getting home after an especially hard long run and feeling my body vibrating and then slowly fall back into its normal rhythm. It's a kind of high.
I love watching the numbers and seeing them improve. |
Why I started running: I tried as hard as I could to destroy my body for 20 years. I was a fat, smoking, useless turd. I finally got bored of that, and started to turn it around. First I got into weightlifting, and then quit smoking not long after. Then picked up running and lost almost 100 pounds. I am a new person, and loving life. |
