Perfect running weather! It felt amazing to be moving outside. I feel like I could have held this pace for another 10 miles. Amazing! While on my run I was thinking about an amazing person, Alice Render. I will greatly miss you and the laughter and sense of community that you brought with you to Marrowstone every year. You helped me explore new territories of the horn and myself. There will be a large hole in the music community from your loss. Thank you for the horn pearls and the advice that they have to offer. I will show these to all my students that I will have, to pass on your thoughts. Rest in peace wherever you are.
