Hard race given the constant up and down, and the steepness of the hills.
Started off easily and tried to hold back on the first lap, and that must have helped as I didn't slow on the second lap. I could probably have gone a little faster on the second lap, but I settled in following two other guys, and got too comfortable just holding my position. In the end the splits look fairly even after adjusting for ascent/descent.
Constant jabbing from my right hamstring, as expected after the run two days ago, so had to be a little careful on the downhills when opening my stride.
Was fun to be racing along the road I'd walked to middle school every day for four years.
