Route: Dark ridge up sugar--Pinnacle--Fort Mccook--Harlan back to dark ridge

Not really a long run but marking it since on the trails for 80 minutes. Knew there would be snow on the trails so would probably be slow going on sections. Up sugar I felt decent but knew I was being slowed some of the snow. Got a little thicker with a couple of inches but hard packed so at points you didn't sink in much. Made it up around the time I expected to sugar which I was pleased with and know I could be faster with no snow. The ridge trail though is where my run became an adventure. There were alot of down limbs and trees from the snow and wind. I have never ran on a trail that had that many trees down. Had to go off trail numerous times. The ice froze on the trees in a pretty cool way like needles on one side of the branches. Took me 10 minutes give or take longer to run this section on the ridge then two weeks ago. Still was fun. From there though down the fort and back to harlan the trail was pretty runnable and i cruised especially the harlan section.. Solid day
