Notes

Got started at 6:30 from the community center. Ran the Big parkway loop then the small loop. Quads were sore from the vertical mile challenge yesterday. Goal was to get time on tired legs. Wasn't sure how long I would go. I knew I was going 14 but really had 20 in my head. Ran with 2 gels and tailwind in my handheld bottle. First mile was around 8:10 ad felt ok but then quickly legs were feeling fatigue. Not bad just knew was going to have to be comfortable moving slow at some points. 8:15 mile up to apartments which was good. On the downhill the quads got more and more sensitive. finished in 1:54:59 for the big loop then small loop I just settled in. Once I got back to veterans I just looked at the ground and the next step I was taken. Got to new section of greenway and knew I would need to finish hard to beat 3 hours so I picked it up and was able to get under. Good day overall.
