Workout: 1/1/2/1/1 @ LT (6:10-20) + 6 x 20 sec Hill @ 1500-3k

Initial plan heading into the week was to do a Tempo at Marathon effort but then started thinking I should do LT and ultimately decided on the workout this morning to get 5-6 miles @ LT. I need to do a little better job of committing to a workout in the week and sticking with it so mentally I can have a better plan on how to execute. Today I was ready for the workout I just wasn't ready tatically on what I needed to do in the workout to be successful so I was a bit all over the map. I knew first on I would be ok at 6:15-20 but when I got to the half split and hit 3:10 for some reason I was upset and picked up more then i needed and split 3:02 for the next 800. I then took off at 3 flat pace for the next one and the second mile split was way to fast. Going into the third I could already feel the hill but i ran more reasonable split of 3:09 then 3:06 on the more flat 800 so I just turned around and did 2 miles. I closed the 2nd 800 in the 4th mile to fast. I ended up feeling that in the 5th mile. In the 6th I think I would have ran the most even splits but stitch popped up and really effected my pace and stride.

Felt pretty strong on the hill reps. Overall an ok workout. I don't think today I was partically strong but I think I made some things harder on myself not being patient within the workout and not trying to force anything. TRUST THE PROCESS and the PACES.
